1. Introduction
We know that plans change — sometimes unexpectedly. At Spaces123, we want to make the booking process as straightforward and stress-free as possible, including being clear about what happens when a booking needs to be cancelled or moved.
This policy explains your options, the applicable notice periods, and the refunds you can expect. We have kept it in plain English, and if you ever have a question, our team is happy to talk it through with you.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all room hire bookings made with Spaces123, including:
- Angourie Point Room (up to 24 attendees)
- Burleigh Point Room (up to 12 attendees)
- Snapper Rocks Room (up to 12 attendees)
It covers bookings made online via our Skedda booking system, by email, by phone, or in person. It applies to individual, recurring, and corporate account bookings unless a separate written agreement is in place.
3. Rooms and Pricing
Spaces123 offers three training and meeting rooms at Level 1, 123 Logan Road, Woolloongabba, QLD 4102. All prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST. For current room availability, pricing and inclusions, please visit spaces123.com.au or contact our team.
4. Payment Required to Secure a Booking
Full payment of your booking fee, or a PO provided to the spaces123 team, is required to confirm and hold your room.
- For online bookings via Skedda, payment is collected at checkout.
- For bookings made by email or phone, payment is due within 24 hours of receiving your invoice, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received, and we have sent you a written booking confirmation.
Full payment is always required upfront to secure a booking. Spaces123 does not accept deposits or part-payments.
5. Cooling-Off Period
We offer a 24-hour cooling-off period from the time your booking is confirmed, provided:
- The booking date is more than 6 business days away; and
- You notify us in writing within 24 hours of making the booking.
If both conditions are met, you are entitled to a full refund to your original payment method. The cooling-off period does not apply to same-day bookings or to bookings in which the room is occupied within 24 hours of confirmation.
6. Customer Cancellations
6.1 Notice Periods and Refunds
Refund entitlements depend on how much notice you give us. Notice is measured in business days before your booking start time. A business day is Monday to Friday, excluding Queensland public holidays. Notice is received when it reaches us during business hours (8:30 am – 5:00 pm AEST, Monday to Friday). Cancellations submitted outside business hours, on weekends, or on public holidays are treated as received at the start of the next business day.
